Synopsis
Purificación lives in Hogar Español, a home for elderly Spanish immigrants in Montevideo, though she longs to go back to her native Spain. Her son, who she has not seen since she left, still lives there. As she rehearses with her peers of the choir for the end of the year party, we share her thoughts and dreams, and we are witness to her desire to maintain high spirits and a will to live, despite her age. The film is about settling, roots and homesickness.
